HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY PRECIOUS JAYDE.

Today is one of my most precious friends birthday - JAYDE! Her, Brennen (husband) and my godson Jude left for New Zealand just over a year ago and i miss them more than i can say. We were super bummed and sad to hear they were moving BUT supported them and are so proud and happy that they have just settled into their new home!
I cant belive that i am not there to celebrate with her... my heart broke a little bit this morning but am so happy to hear she got spoilt and had a lovely day!!
This is Jayde and i on her 21st birthday - Jayde and Brennen have been married just on a year and mike and i were married for a whole month!!

To my best friend on her birthday.... Jayde we love and miss you so so much!! You are the only sister i have ever had and i think about you every day!
You are a loving wife (esp putting up with Brennen), a flippen amazing mother, the best sister anyone could ask for and the bestest friend i have ever had!

Jayde i look forward to celebrating many more happy birthdays with you and even more years of wonderful precious friendship!!!

OH BROTHER...

Oh brother is correct - we were getting ready for church when my mom called and said that my brother is in hospital and going into surgery soon because he fell off his motorbike and broke his arm! Silly boy racing like a maniac.. he is totally fine and we saw him just before he went into surgery and after he came out. He was a bit zonked up (quite funny) and he said they had to put wires in his arm instead of pins which is a good thing for some reason. Seeing as he is in IT he relies on his hands to work so they wanted to fix him properly! He should be off work for a week and will need physio.
This was Ryan and i before he went in... shame he was quite nervous!

How cute is this - Timmy checking me out as i was blogging!! My precious boy!! He just made me giggle, he was like "MOM, look at me i need a scratch"

Some post arrived... YAYAYAYAYAYAY! My greatest joy is opening post especially when its something i ordered online!!
My three books arrived and life is good!!!!

My "lee child" books arrived finally!!

This morning mike made us some coffee in bed and i got to start on my one book under the warm covers of our lovely comfy bed!! Life doesn't get much better than this!

While i was reading my book under the covers the doggies were warming themselves outside in the sun. Mike came back from checking up on them with these pics! My precious babies!

Kitchen staff and dinner!

Yesterday we helped in the kitchen at our doggy club. They had a show and needed some people to make the food and serve tea. It was really cool cause we hadn't seen a show before and everyone was super good and answered all our questions!
We belong to the "German Shepard dog club" - its really funny cause our dogs are the size of most of the other dogs heads!

Mike made bacon and egg rolls and tea and coffee... i made toasted sarmies and greeted everyone with a smile :)

This was all the doggy prizes - so lovely!!!

Last night we had friends over for dinner - i do Sunday school with Brett and Chan (they have three amazing children) and have been meaning to invite them for dinner for months! Last night they finally came over and it was such a cool evening - we some invaluable nuggets of marriage advice and kid advice - was AWESOME!
I made chicken pie... one of my all time favorite dinner makings cause its so easy and so delicious!

Garden and home show.

Every year our exhibition center hosts a garden and home show - this showcases any and everything related to garden and home! Its awesome!! We invited Madvhi to come with us and the best part is we got give free complimentary tickets...

We parked at the ICC and took a lift up to the Royal hotel - the exhibition center is right over the road... This is us the lift on the way up - we were laughing cause mike is certain that there are video cameras in the lift and was a bit embarrassed about the photos being taken :)

There is always and amazing coffee and cake stand at this and every year mike scouts it out to look for something yummy - me not being a huge sweet tooth just enjoy Mike enjoying his cake!!!
Mads had cheese cake and mike had a chocolate moose on a base of brownie - delicious!

we fell in love with this chair - i was considering getting one for our patio before i heard they cost R16 000 - that changed my mind immediately and we just enjoyed it for a moment!!

We walked into this little room and realized it was like a home theater... flippen amazing!!!! I have always wanted one of these in my house... our house is too little to have a room dedicated to movies BUT as soon as we move up in the world and win the lottery i will have a room like this - and a popcorn machine of course!! It turned out this wasn't just a HUGE TV but it was actually a projector, the image was crystal clear!

one of my favorite things at this show is the twizzled potato... I look forward to this every year!!!

The flavour i chose for this was BBQ and chili - Y U M !!!!

Mike found a "eco-friendly" bench while Mads and i fussed over our twizzler...

Mike has been battling with his neck and we figured his pillow is too soft! We found this awesome hypoallergenic pillow and when he woke up he said this really did help his neck!

The last two things i found there was Wasabi mayonnaise (AMAZING) and freshly baked rye bread... i could not wait till morning so i made myself a late night sandwich and oh man it was worth it!!
A perfect end to the evening!

I'm a WINNER!!!

I got to gym today (dragged myself out of bed after much debate) and when i scanned my tag in there was a flashing message saying "you have won a free month at gym as i was one of the top attendees of the month" - HOW EXCITING!!!
I was super stoked!!! SO nice and motivating... been feeling very tired by Friday after gyming Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday - Friday is always a bit of a stretch!

Where i am happy to be on this wall.... this is the wall i really want to my name to feature!

This shows all the biggest losses of the month - May i lost 17.89cm but the highest of the month was 20.05cm - awesome hey! They also show the most weight lost and BMI loss.
I haven't had a good eating week this last week and haven't been feeling too confident about my weigh-in and measure so i postponed it until next week :)

Fancy lunch.

On Wednesday all us admin staff were taken out to lunch because our branch manager is leaving - it was a goodbye / thank you lunch and we had it at the Royal Hotel.
It was a lovely lunch - the food was delicious but the hotel itself is stunning!!
The restaurant is called the "Royal Grill"

That evening Wayne and Kims came for dinner! Kims is working at a florist and has always loved and wanted to be involved with flowers! She is a qualified interior designer but feels like she wants to pursue flowers... she brought me this amazing bouquet of flowers! Stunning hey! She has an awesome eye for these things.
