T-shirt shopping!

I LOVE our camera phones.... Mike and I use them ALL day with so many things! I went today to get a t-shirt for a friends birthday and i had to send mike all the options! We love Jay Jays t-shirts!!
So I sent mike all the options of what shirt he things we should get...

 This is the one we settled on for Jurgens birthday present!!

 and then mike just threw in that he REALLY REALLY likes this one...

So of course I took the hint (like men normally don't catch :) and got it for him!!

Happy birthday my very precious friend!! I love and miss you so much and I am so heart sore that we arent able to celebrate with you!! I know you had a lovely day and spent the evening getting spoilt by your mom - what a lovely thing to be able to send this with your family!!!

My schnookie!

Ok so this is what happened!! I bought a Snood the other day - LOVE LOVE LOVE them.... my new favorite thing in the world... but somehow in my mind it was called a Schnookie so that is what I have been calling it! You know when you name something and the name just sticks whether its right or not.... that's what happened!! It shall forever be a schnookie!
My mom bought this one for me and I really dig it!!

 I love the color and love the little flower on it!!

I have been wearing it everywhere :) Now I want a nice deep purple one and possibly a green one!

Kitchen spring clean...

Things have been a bit stressful for us lately, too many things to mention... I needed some therapy and what works for me is cleaning!! When I am stressed I like to clean and potter around moving things and then moving them back and so it goes on! I skipped gym on Monday and spring cleaned our kitchen - every single cupboard, the fridge, freezer.....
1) why do I keep bottles and bottles of finished cleaning products?

2) my worst nightmare - the Tupperware cupboard!! NO lids for the containers I need or NO bottoms for all the lids we have! I was ruthless and just threw away everything that didn't have a lid or bottom! Now we have no Tupperware :)

3) Nightmare number 2 is our bottom cutlery drawer, always a huge mess!!

 and voila its all clean...

 Clean cupboards make my heart happy and help my stress levels!

 All the things I threw away - from the kitchen - who knew!!

 I was totally ruthless and got rid of all the things we don't use or have bits and pieces of... all of this is going to have to find another home!

I feel I can breath easier now...... I have convinced Mike that our WHOLE house needs to be spring cleaned so we're on our way to a sparking house and garage!! Bring on the cleaning!! We've given ourselves a month to do it so lets see how far we get!

A while ago Mike did this 3D signboard for a new development.... we drove past the other day and we were delighted to see it up!! Isn't mike just tooo clever!!

Pooh bear...

 SO we capped our internet on Thursday and we have been unable to connect until today - ooops! So my blogging has been a little slack - yay for being back online!

Tenz suprised me with this lovely pooh bear mug last week - to cheer me up! I am a HUGE pooh bear fan and I found the perfect place for it!

Mike made me some tea in bed on Saturday morning and it tasted delicious in this mug!!

Spar ladies 10klm walk.

On sunday Tenz, her sister and I braved the spar ladies 10klm and it was awesome!! The best part about the things is the goodie bag!!

 We got some lovely goodies!!

 The only thing is we had to wake up early on sunday... we were both so sleepy!!

After the walk Mike took me out for brekkies -too sweet!

Monday we were all over the paper - was awesome to see how well this was supported!! There were 17 000 walkers on the day!!

 Our names were in the paper - yay!!! I came 3596'th of the 17 000....

 And Tenz came 3984th  - we finished together which was cool but obviously with so many people we were timed in a few people apart!

I'm all for exercising socially so I love this walk!! I'm keen to run it next year - or run as much of the 10klm I can! Definitely keen to beat my time next year which should be easy!!
