God knows

Monday is here already, the weekend went so quickly!!
After a very cool weekend with Mike when Monday rolls around I really miss him – I kissed him goodbye 40minutes ago and already I miss him… Monday is always a long day! The pups got shampooed and conditioned yesterday and because they were SO lovely and clean they slept by us last night all cuddling into us! Bliss… so I miss them also today!
Sigh.
One huge positive is that last night at church a wonderful, amazing 20year old girl preached (that in itself is HUGELY inspiring)…. YOH it was awesome and all about running our race well… there was SO much to take from the preach BUT the one thing that stand out to me is that no matter what happens just know God knows – so any situation just know that it might have taken you by surprise BUT it didn’t take God by surprise and God knows….
God knows, God always knows!! Something to remember in the hard times, our God knows and has never left us!! He is there with us and goes before us!

What happened??

Last night was a busy night - I made my mom three trays of chocolate brownies ( I baked one on Monday, one on Tuesday and one last night) - I had to cut them and chocolate all of them and the drop them off at my moms for their holiday club. I made these for the kiddies that are going to the holiday club and my mom says they would so appricate some chocolate goodness....

We got home (me straight from gym), did the last tray of brownies, did washing, popped into the shops, dropped the brownies off at my parents and when we got home  it was just after 8:30pm and I hadn't even eaten dinner and was HUNGRY! Mike had a huge lunch so he wasn't too worried about food so he offered for me to go for a shower and jump into bed and he would make me some popcorn for dinner! YUM - best dinner don't you think! So I did just that... When I got out the shower I went to keep mike company in the kitchen and for some reason the popcorn was not popping and he couldn't understand why... we soon found out why....

 He put the wrong stove plate on and totally burned my pretty stove covers... OH DEAR!!

BUT after that the popcorn was divine!!

I was excited cause I LOVE popcorn... Mike and fun while I was acting in front of the camera!!

 NOT so pretty but hey, it was a LONG day!! and I was hungry :)

Thanks for dinner babes, was good to jump into a warm bed and noshing on this while watching some "24".... good end to the day!!

Weekend "pottering" around...

This weekend we had a homeish weekend - in between running around we managed to plant some pot plants for our patio! On Saturday morning we did a few things in Springfield and around about 11ish we started getting hungry so we stopped for some brunch - at Wimpy of course!!

 Mike stole one of my chips in retaliation to me stealing one of his...

We got these plants from Jurgens, they are super easy to keep alive and that is why we LOVE them!!

We got some of these glass containers to plant them in.... as well as this love pot plant thingy...

Tims and Holly wanted to help (or eat the plants more like it)

 We also got some solar powered fairy lights for the patio so I put those up while Mike potted the plants...

 I tried to take of Holly but you cant see her eyes - round two wasn't any better!! BUT how cute!

 We also did a proper clean up....

I am loving how my patio is looking....

 Also got some astro for the pups - they LOVE it!!

aaahhhhh, the joy of spending a few hours working and loving the end result!!

Suprise package....

On Monday I arrived at work and during the morning I received a package....

FROM MIKE as a nice little surprise!! We've had a hectic few weeks and this was meant to cheer me up - and it SO did!! He ordered me one of my all time favorite movies....

Yayayay - I love it!! I watched started watching it at work in the afternoon :)

Shooo thanks my babes, totally unexpected and totally appreciated. There is nothing better than getting a surprise present from the person you love the most....

The recurring argument :)

Do you have an argument that keeps on surfacing.... we do! Mike always moans that I  leave my shoes all over the place (which I so do) AND I always fight with Mike cause he NEVER charges the laptop or Ipad! When I get home early I like to get cooking dinner and browse on my laptop... and I HATE it when I get out the laptop and the battery is FLAT! (breath, breath)... then I have to find the cord and its a big mission and so on and so on!!

 oh the flat battery sign!!!

 And the Ipad is never fully charged - why I ask???

I suppose when I start putting my shoes away mike will start charging things??

Garden and Home show...

On Wednesday night we went to the garden and home show - we LOVE browsing all the home stuff and dreaming of how we went our home to be!!

 We always get loads of pamphlets for "one day" when we can afford certain things!

 I want this awesome lolly maker.... so divine!!

 We have also been wanting a coffee maker so we checked out a whole bunch of them!!

What a lovely time to chat and laugh and browse.....
