35 weeks!!

Today has been the BEST day, we had our babyshower today - it was awesome! BUT 8 hours after getting there I am exhausted and will blog it tomorrow :)
I just wanted to blog our 35 week milestone!! TOO exciting!!

5 weeks to go!!! We are counting down the days!!!

Tea time...

Yesterday after work I decided that instead of waiting for mike at work I would go for some tea and do something I haven't done in ages - buy a magazine!
I love the pick n pay Fresh Living magazine....

What a treat to have some tea, read a magazine and they had a whole section of kiddies cakes for our future child's birthday parties! Made me smile!

I really do enjoy my alone time :)

Cuddling again!!

When we first got Holly she was very independent and not too cuddly... NOW she loves to cuddle - this was her cuddling me the other morning!! Snuggled right up to me!!

I love mornings like this.....

Shopidy shop!

After work today I persuaded the husband to "quickly" pop into the shops and get a few things! The last thing I needed for my hospital bag was pajamas - and after looking in EVERY SINGLE store we finally found some - and the tops were on special! BONUS!!

So now my bag is packed and I am HAPPY!!! God Bless Mike for walking from shop to shop to shop looking for these!!!

We also wanted a nice little hat or something for our baby's new born photo shoot - we found the prefect one!!!

 Can you just imagine our little one in the hat and boots only for its new born shoot!!!

We tried it on Tims and Holly too - poor pups :)

2 hours later, sore feet, sick and tired of walking around the shops we are home, showered, fed and time to chill!

A change around...

Yesterday Mike and I went for a late-ish breakfast (our favorite weekend tradition) and then I got a bee in my bonnet to change baby's room around... Mike helped and I recon its better than before!!

We moved the cot sideways and against the wall and it frees up so much more room!! We also added the brown (not for long) bookshelf as baby has too many books :) I want to paint it yellow or green!

 Baby's changing table is all ready.....

 And we stuck the "hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle" silver plate above the first shelf!

Tim's was really cute - he got a bit antsy as we were in there for long so mike just brought in his cushion and he settled down to watch us work.... not so happily but he'll get used to us being in baby's room a lot I hope!

 We also moved the shelves around a bit..... Mike calls this NESTING when I move something around... and then again... and again!!!

Today I moved the shelves around a little bit again :)

After all our hard work i decided we needed a treat- fruit salad and ice-cream was on the menu!!

What a lovely weekend!!!!

I really love sitting in a coffee shop, on a couch, with the hustle and bustle of the day doing on around me while i enjoy a hot chocolate (a coffee when baby is born and I am allowed caffeine again)

In 6-8 weeks there will be one more thing added to this picture - a pram :) I cannot wait!

The pups get let in about 30min before we are due to get up to come and cuddle - isnt Holly the cutest!

 She was using my pillow as her pillow - spoilt little thing!!
