A little christmas cheer....

This year has been a hard year and to be completely honest I just want it to be over! So putting up the christmas tree was bittersweet... I didnt WANT to but also didnt want Ollies first christmas to be christmas tree free. We put on some christmas music and decorated the tree and it was actually really nice!

... it did add some christmas cheer!

... so our christmas season has officially began.

DIY.

Mike and I have finally been able to do a little DIY - we arent finished and have a way to go BUT we have done a few cool things so far!

We have had this wood in our garage for over a year now (probably going on 2) - Mike and my dad did this.... i LOVE it!! We are going to stain it this weekend....

 AND we  framed our TV and got a new TV cabinet....

We still need to hide the wires.... and do one or two more decorative things but we are getting there!
It feels good to be able to do some things around the house - for the last 8 months we have been MIA with regards DIY.
