Sunday morning...

Sunday morning it was Mikes turn for a little sleep in so when Lolly called "mommmma" I was there to attend to prince Oliver's every need...
It began with a nappy change and breakfast - I made him an omelette but while it cooled Ollie had a little cheese starter.

We were also chatting to Aunty Jayde over whatsapp so we took a few early morning selfies hence the bed hair and sleepy eyes - check out cute this kid is!

Miss you so much Aunty Jayde!!! Love you forever and wish we were closer!!!

Friday playtime...

On Friday we had a power outage at work so we got to go home early.... that meant more Lolly time!

That smile just melts my heart!!

We had lots of fun and shared some biscuits....

A little inspiration...

We have been watching Masterchef lately and I just want to cook!! I saw a week or two ago a groupon special for 2 past masterchef cook books for a steal and they arrive today - very exciting!
I cant wait to try a few recipes...

On Friday night I tried a new recipe that is a definite winner... apricot and almond stuffed chicken breasts with roast veggies.

 Hmmmmm yum! I am keen to try gnocchi and some home made ravioli!

My husband.

My husband is the BEST. Yesterday driving home from work I was starving and found a apple in my lunch bag. It looked a bit bruised so he offered to bite into it and check it for me - it was so brown and yucky... BUT how amazingly sweet is that! He saved me a nasty bite of an apple.... to me that is love! Thank you bean for showing me love in so many ways every day!

Vintage Christmas decorations...

My mom went to hospice and managed to find me the cutest present ever! Vintage Christmas lights that sing 8 different Christmas tunes, I LOVE them!

Presents like this make me feel known and loved, its not about the money spent but about knowing what is special to me. Thanks precious mom!

My little clown...

My little clown of a child has realized that when mommy tries to take a nice photo its much more fun to pull funny faces! He was eating is sandwich so beautifully with puppy and wormy but when my camera come out this is what happened :)

 I even tried to sneak one from another angle but he is too clever!

I absolutely LOVE how Ollie's personality is starting to come through - he is so full of fun and teasing... he is going to provide so much wonderful entertainment!

Visiting nan...

Nan is now all moved into frail care which is long overdue. Our hearts are happy that she is being well looked after. Lolly visited Nan for the first time on Saturday... he was a little hesitant as it is a new place but he will get used to it soon.
Lolly bought Nan some meringues BUT he also ate a few when he arrived.... oh dear! He did really enjoy them!

All the nurses were smitten with him and I know so soon he will be running around there like a little king! Love my boy and love how he is flexible with certain things :)
