Mr Baker

Ollie was the baker on Friday and he requested cupcakes with a cherry on the top just like a song they have been singing at school.

Ollie was SO excited to be baker and he was able to choose not one but two of his besties to accompany him tot he office to go hand in the money he made selling his cupcakes.

This is what Ollie and I do when we are waiting for the gate to open at school... we always get there early so we can beat Ollie's one friend Jake to school (boys) so we normally have time to take pics or read stories. Ollie's favorite story at the moment is Peter Pan - we listen to the audio book while he reads along.

I cherish these times so much!!

Weekend away...

This last weekend we went away with precious friends and spent the weekend camping.
Ollie LOVES camping and its such a special time for him.
We spent our time at the pool, running after the ducks, playing putt putt, riding bikes, playing ball games, lighting sparklers, blowing bubbles - the best way to spend a weekend!

I baked some fresh breads for the weekend.....

My view from the bed I shared with Charley on Saturday night...

Mike was amazing and made this little "cage" for Charley that just slides into the one bed - she is at that stage where she will stand up and try her luck before she falls asleep - this saved our life this weekend, I am not sure what we would have done without it!

Che Che spoilt the kiddies with a few packs of Sparklers....

Its times like these that I want my kids to remember.... its long days by the pool and the excitement of sleeping anywhere but home.

He loves to wonder through Toys R Us and look at everything knowing the rule is we aren't allowed to buy anything.

I really do fall in love with this child daily!
