Family dates

We LOVE family dates... any excuse for a treat together.

 These two make life so much fun!!

Parties...

We love parties, we always go as a family and enjoy it as a playdate. I know many couples who take turn taking their kids to parties to give each parent a break which must work well for them - but we love going as a family when possible.
This was a frozen party so C Bear made a crown and wore it all morning....

 Ollie had a ball at this party, he had a group of friends that all played so well together.

We truly do love time together as a family.

WHY??

Why do we need to wake the kids up for school BUT on the weekends they wake up at the crack of dawn? WHY?

 This was a early morning, snuggled on the couch!

I have a love / hate relationship with these mornings - I am tired when I wake up (hate) BUT the kids are truly happy and super cute first thing in the morning.

Weekend away...

This last weekend we spent a night away with some family at Cumberland Nature reserve.
It was lovely, we saw buck, zebra and giraffe - My favorite thing I saw was fire flies - they are so beautiful.

We made a huge fire in the evening which Ollie helped make, we sat around eating chocolate and chatting with a cup of tea. No cell reception, no electricity, the stars were bright and the night was quiet - it really was lovely.

Soccer

Friday is soccer at school - can you tell Ollie is excited!

Sometimes...

Sometimes an ice coffee in the bath is medicine for a tiring week with a teething baba.

I love our new bath and bathroom....

Breakfast

Sometimes we eat breakfast in our PJ's on the kitchen floor.
This is normal right?
