Slow mornings...

I am in love with slow weekend morning, I love lazing in bed with coffees while the kiddies laze next to us watching some Peppa Pig or playing with their toys...
This was Saturday morning (I think) the kids were lazing around with us until we all got hungry (the kids for their 3rd breakfast, ours for our first breakfast) so we headed to Spur.

Our weekends are very precious and family time is so important to us...

This is my new favorite corner of our home.... my bestie gifted me with these stunning little wire lights and it just makes this space magical!

SALE!

On the weekend I went to get my first Kway Jacket.... they are super comfy so warm for when we go camping. I didn't realize that Cape Union was having a huge sale and I was lucky enough to get 2x kway jackets (such pretty ones) and a pair of Addidas....

I LOVE a good sale and I cannot wait to wear my new gear this weekend.
Only 3 more sleeps until our mini getaway with Poppy (our caravan)

Home Ground...

 We are always on the lookout for a nice place to have a good coffee where the kids can play... I am NOT a huge fan of spur at all which is the normal go to for parents so this place was a very nice surprise. The coffee was well priced and delicious and the kids had so much to play with....

C Bear...

Party time...

We had the best time at Jacobs first party on the weekend. We have come to that point where parties aren’t a dreaded affair – when the kids are really small we just spend the day running after them, dealing with meltdowns and tears and bumping heads and the list goes on... BUT we are now at the age when Ollie can play on his own and have lots of fun and C Bear just rumbles around after Ollie and is much more independent than Ollie ever was so it’s so much easier now and parties are a very enjoyable time.

This was a little snack break was to refuel so they could jump some more on the jumping castle...

Visiting work...

When its school holidays Ollie is allowed to come to work with me and he LOVES it – it’s not so much that he loves spending the day with his dear momma bear but more so that he can watch youtube all day and eat snacks. He gets spoilt and all the ladies swoon over him....

He is SO GOOD too, he spent the whole day with me – 7:30am – 4pm and not once did I regret bringing him to work with me.

Camping at Rocky Bay...

On the weekend we went camping to Rocky Bay with friends. The weather was cold and rainy BUT the caravan park and the company made up for the horrible weather. On Sunday morning when we woke up the sun was shining but soon after the clouds came back and the heavens opened up and rained down on us again.   

Even though Rocky Bay is less than an hour away we cant help but stop for coffee on they way, it makes it feel like a road trip... I also bought us a giant cookie to all share which has become some what of a tradition (even though we left at 7am a cookie was in order)

 We left in the pouring rain..... but that didnt damper our mood!

 C Bear was my bunk mate which is awesome because she now sleeps through - we used to take turns sleeping with her BUT I think I will claim her as my sleeping date until she is old enough to sleep with Ollie.

 In true camping fashion the kids at corn... C Bear just wanted to copy her brother....

 This was our view from our campsite... we had a few minutes of sunshine before the rain came again but again, it was so worth it even in the cold!

 Sleepy morning faces and daddy stalking us....

 C Bear LOVES the sea, when we arrived she just looked at the beach and said "wow" about a million times. Pity it was too cold to swim or wade in the water but next time we will hopefully spend more time on the beach.

We are very keen to go back when the weather is better and enjoy the beach and pool... SOON we will return for a little family only camp.
