4 little kiddies...

4 little kiddies playing in a pen...
They chose to play in there, they loved it! Ella, the biggest, helped the smaller ones in and out and in and out - what fun playing in a jail it seems!

Selfie surprise...

Saturday morning I was getting ready and the boys were being boys.
Later I found these on my camera roll -

Best little selfie suprise! Love my boys....

Chocolate stick...

On Sundays we make it to church a little early so we can grab a cappuccino before church.... every week, while we are getting our cappuccino the coffee team dip a stirring stick into the tub of chocolate they use to make hot chocolate and give one to my boy...

He now makes eyes at them as we approach the coffee bar. Funny boy. As soon as he is done he asks to throw the stick away and returns to his daddy happily!
A little chocolate kick before Sunday school is just what my boy needs....

home year.... kind of continued.

So home year 2015 has kind of slowed down... there is so much to do but it seems there is no time! Weekend nights are busy with every day things so it leaves weekends and we have some standing obligations every weekend that cut out weekends in half....
A little change that we made was moving a chest of drawers into the kitchen - our kitchen is small so any and all storage is needed.
BEFORE -
AFTER - now I have space for my baking trays and goodies and the wrapping paper stayed in the bottom drawer so that works.
We also finally mounted our bathroom figures that I bought months ago! I must say I really love this....
The wood we bought months ago is still piled on the patio - hopefully this weekend we will be able to make a dent and start the creating process of making it into what it was bought for. Time willing.

Valentines day...

Valentines day has never been a huge day we celebrate, its just an excuse to do something a little special. This year we met up with friends for a afternoon / evening picnic. I packed a crate with delicious things including a million snacks for Mr oliver...
We went to giba gorge where the kids could run and play and ride their bikes on the baby track - Oliver was fascinated and I am so glad we ended up taking his bike. He pretty much stayed in the same spot, give or take a few steps, while the other kids whizzed around him, he LOVED it! My boy is getting too big.

At 6pm they had a zombie run so we lined up and watched the zombies and the poor runners who would get stalked by the zombies start the run, there was music playing and Lolly was dancing. It was a lovely evening! I was super proud of my child, his normal bedtime is 6pm but we ended up staying till about 7:30pm then we got home bathed and put him to sleep around 8pm - latest bedtime to date. He was a champ - he was so well behaved and he played so nicely with the other kiddies even when they used his bike and stole his ball.... my heart swelled with huge pride at my child and the way he behaves all the time. We love spending time with people and we have no issue leaving him to be babysat because we know how well behaved he is.... I am one proud momma.
For us as a family routine has played a huge part, its what keeps me sane and Lolly seems to thrive in his routine. For us it works. Love my family and how we do life.

Quality time...

Yesterday Lolly and I spent most of the day just the two of us, I loved it. We had no where to go, no rush to do anything - just him and I at home playing! Our week days are too busy and our weekends often end up being as busy so its very rare I get some quality time with my boy and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
He woke from his nap so when I heard him I went to get him and he told me that he isn't quite awake yet and I must leave him. So I told him to call me when he was awake and half and hour later he called "momma" and he was ready to wake up - a little too much like me I think. A slow wake up process is always best!
He used the fridge as his own personal aircon....
I got a million cuddles! Love it. I have taught him now to hug with both arms and squeeze!!

I also now ask him how much I love him and he puts his arms out wide....
This child honestly teaches me what love is every day!! I miss him so much today already....

Tick Tocks

Tick tocks is the Sunday school group that Lolly now goes to - he started at 18 months and only now is he enjoying it.... he wasn't so keen at first. I still sit in with him. I will admit that his favorite part of the day is going outside to play...
On Sunday we learnt about trees and how God created them, the different trees that bare different fruit.
Another favorite is the biscuit and juice they get when they go play.

The sandpit and the slide are where my boy spends most of his time...

I LOVE that mr now goes to sunday school, warms my heart that he is learning all about God's love and our prayer is that this is the start to a life long relationship with our precious Jesus.

Sharing...

On Sunday after church we popped to the shops "quickly" but sadly quickly is never quickly so we stopped for a little treat. My treat was a iced coffee and Mikes was a chocolate frappe which is shared with Lolly.

Mike gave him the icey bits and the bottom and he really enjoyed them. Such a big cup for such a little boy...

Big spoon, little spoon...

This was Oliver's Saturday afternoon nap.
Teddy was cuddling him and he was cuddling sheepy...
My boy loves his naps... just like his momma :)

Cherish me...

I am SO excited to send off my "cherish me" order....
I have sent 10 items of Lolly's clothes to be transformed into something memorable.

Watch this space, I cannot wait to show you what Lolly's clothes will return as.

My little tigger...

Our little Tigger...

And this is our little Tigger foraging to baby tomatoes...

Cutest little Tigger I have ever seen!

Sharing...

This morning I was wearing a necklace and when Lolly hopped on my lap he decided it was good to share moms necklace :)

What a cutie!!!

Tuesday 3 February 2015

Tommy time.

If Lolly is good then he is allowed 5 minutes of Tommy time on Che'-che's ipad.

He is so good, when the 5 minutes are up then he puts Tommy to sleep and he gives the ipad back. I am a very proud momma when my boy is so good!

Time with pops.

When we arrived to fetch Oliver from my parents house yesterday this is what we came home to -

Lolly was helping his pops sweep away some water that was leaking into the driveway. Those two are two peas in a pod!

Weekend loving...

This weekend, for a million reason, we fell in love with Oliver all over again.

This weekend was nothing special but it was one of those weekends when you come away from it feeling loved and refreshed and feeling a new sense of purpose and satisfaction in your life right now!
