A tough couple of weeks...

Oh my, things have been hectic the last few weeks but I have happy to say the worst is over and hopefully we'll be back on track soon and having time to blog and enjoy some stress free times...
Our tough weeks started with Mikes mom having a stroke and being hospitalized - what a shock that was and it just broke our hearts to know Mom was in pain!! Scary scary time.... on top of that she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and that came as even more as a shock!! YOH!! Thanks for all our friends praying and for Gods grace mom is ok and her tumor is benign! She is home and recovering well.... this is going to be a new journey we will have to walk with her but we are SO SO grateful that she is doing well! We thank God every day for her and that her health will continue to get better and she continues to get stronger!
So yes, is has been a tough time BUT we have all came out of it with more faith and trust in the God we love and who loves us! These last couple of weeks have been rather hectic, mom being in hospital, Mikes brother, sister-in-law and the kids came to visit from Dubai to visit, we threw dad a surprise 70th birthday... so things have been busy!! It might take me some time to catch up on all the blogging I missed out on.
Mom was in hospital for just under a week... she has so many visitors and phones calls!! The hospital staff were also amazing to mom!!

I brought mom a flower to make her hospital room a little brighter... and the first heart i ever sewed also became moms...

Happy to have you home and feeling a bit better mom!!! You scared us bigtime! Hell yeah for many many more years of health and happiness!
