Zinkwasi weekend away...

This last weekend we went away to Zinkwasi with 5 other couples... and it was so lovely!
Our day started off going for our "livesmart" follow up (which i will tell you about later) and then we went shopping for foodies for the weekend and then we got some yummy healthy lunch for the road!
We got kauia chicken wraps (no mayo) and now that we're allowed 2 cups of tea a day or a cup of coffee i cashed mine in and had a decaf Latte... man it was gooood!! It made my day!

Mike really enjoyed his lunch and is totally on board with the healthy eating we have been doing.... we even followed it through all weekend (we were very proud of ourselves!)

On Saturday we woke up to a georgeous sunny day.... we had some tea on the patio...

 I would love to wake up to this view every day!

 After lunch we went for a walk on the beach and mike wrote me a little love letter...

 

 I wanted to swim but the backwash was so so strong!! I was quite nervous...  I  swam on Friday afternoon and again in the evening but it was still too strong!

 Washing our feet before we go back inside to chill - i made a lovely dent on my book this weekend - pure bliss!!

 Ross brought his boat so we had some fun on it on the lagoon! Saturday afternoon we went for a ride...

We went with Ross, Gavin, Jem and little jack!!!

 Mike looks like hes gonna be a good daddy don't you think!!

 Ross drove the boat like a maniac... naah not really BUT he would have loved to!!!

 And then Gavin took over and Ross when for a ski...

 There were fish jumping out of the water everywhere and one even jumped into the boat - we were like "what the heck"...i recon he just wanted a ride on the boat... we let him go when we found him!

the boys then decided to hit golf balls across the lagoon as boys do! They spent hours and hours playing with balls - golf, soccer and rugby!! Boys will be boys!!

 

What a lovely weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so lovely to wake up today and feel refreshed after such an amazing weekend!!
