Pottering around... and dinner guests!

What a week.. its been really busy - we've been busy every evening this week and its been so tiring!!! i love being busy BUT i love having at least one home day a week to chill and enjoy mike and the pups... not this week! We hosted dinner Monday and Tuesday - last night we went to my folks and tonight we have good friends coming over for dinner!
Yesterday afternoon Kate and i went for a walk on the beach with two of her doggies, we went for  a swim then another long walk and it was so wonderful being on the beach late afternoon!!
We then went back to her place, swam, changed, back to my place, shower, change and then to my moms for dinner!! We stayed to watch "top gear india" (we love top gear) - so funny - those okes are nuts!!
You will be proud to know that Detox day 3 and 4 went well!! My mom made detox friendly food and it was yum and tonight's food is all fresh and healthy - we warned Dennis and Lyndall and they were keen!
You will be so proud to hear we haven't cheated ONCE... how good are we!

I got home, made the dinner and did all the prep work then messed around at home rearranging our lounge as our new couch is so different to our last one!
Mike has a good eye for things and decided to move our little round table - i love it!!!
Loving how its looking now!!

ahhh to nap on a couch again! pure bliss!!
So we are expecting dinner guests soon... love setting up and getting things ready for our friends! It is going to be a very chilled evening...

 We will be eating outside because its a lovely summer day and will be a lovely summer evening!!

 I bought this little juice dispenser a while ago and today is the first time using it! I am going to fill it with ice, water, oranges and mint and that is our fresh drink for tonight!!

Love spending time with friends.... makes my heart happy!
