Bittersweet!!

Today our family went home - it is not a good day in this respect! Seeing them only once a year SUCKS but we had such an amazing time with them... it was such a cool time and we'll miss them so much! I have plenty of pictures to blog but its not going to happen tonight... tonight i want to get to bed early and have a nice loooong sleep. We have so many late nights this last week and a half that i just need more than 6 hours sleep tonight!!
More than a few tears were shed about them leaving and being so far away - we miss the kids so so much and feel bummed we aren't able to be a bigger part of their lives! Nieces and nephews are such precious things and we loved every second spent with them!!

The "sweet" part of this bittersweet post is that... MIKE GOT A NEW JOB!! he has been really unhappy at work for a while and today he got the news that he got a job at Mr. Price which is flippen amazing!! He went for an interview on Tuesday and today he got the news! We are over the moon, God has answered so many prayers with this new job that we are just so thankful!!

Thank you Lord for this amazing opportunity for Mike!! I can already see a change in him hearing about this job!
There were three of them in all that were interviewed and they just said they think Mike would fit in best with them. We had a good feeling from the beginning about this job but didn't want to get our hopes up... i love it when something this like comes together! Its a good excuse for a bit of a celebration!!!

I am off to bed - yes it is only 8pm but my bed is calling!!!
