Kids ministry and bike riding.

Today I woke up to my two puppies sleeping bum bum on our bed... Mike left early to go riding so the doggies came to snuggle with me! How funny were they... silly bananas!!

So mike woke up at 5am this morning to go bike riding (motorbike not bike bike)and it was pouring with rain and cold - i wouldnt have gone but him and my brother did! Mike came back with a flat back tire and a broken clutch so as you can gather it didnt go to well but they seemed to enjoy it anyway.
hows this crazy weather! I would have been in the car with a blanket reading a book!

while mike was being a naughty sinner and not coming to church today i was on kids ministry duty so i was there at 7:50am sharp to start setting up. I was on story duty so spent most of yesterday preparing BUT after all that our projector wouldn't work so all my prep was for naught! Made the lesson a little difficult but finally we decided that they could all just gather around the laptop... it was also raining BUCKETS so it was really loud with the rain against the roof - very loud and disruptive but somehow i made it through! The one cool thing was our call room has been transformed into something awesome! We are known as "powerzone" - grade 2 - 4... and our colours are yellow and purple. All the leaders wear purple shirts with huge yellow writing saying power zone - very cool!! And today this was painted on our wall with a whole bunch of awesome banners!

And today our kids ministry band got together to do combined worship! I was so impressed you have no idea! There is a drummer, 3 guitarists, someone on a keyboard a group of singers and some kids who do actions - amazing!!!

No church for us tonight cause our moms (and dads) are coming for dinner for mothers day!
